La Spinazza

For those who do not want to get away from Marzamemi they can go to the Litorale Spinazza, reachable on foot, being a few hundred meters from the town. La “Spiaggia della Spinazza” is the first beach we meet arriving in Marzamemi from San Lorenzo. In this long beach, mainly free, there are several equipped beaches, bathing establishments and refreshment points. Here the beach and the sea are very similar to that of San Lorenzo, being its natural extension: clear sand and crystal blue sea!                                            Other important beaches in the vicinity of Marzamemi are the beach of Marinella and the Cavettone Bay. The beach of Marinella is located 800 meters from the historic center of Marzamemi and the ideal location to admire Isolotto Brancati (owned by the family of the same name) with a spectacular backdrop of the seaside village of Marzamemi. Cavettone Bay is 1.5 km from the historic centre of Marzamemi. Cavettone beach is a beach bordered by rocky walls and characterized by fine golden sand and a clear sea. La Baia is part free and part equipped.
